New products for spring from Fantoni

At the Salone del Mobile in Milan in April, the latest trends in furniture design were once again on display in abundance. The new solutions presented by Fantoni took into account the latest developments in the design of working environments.

A few examples of what’s new this spring:

  • The Alis collection (design: Park studio) represents a graceful blend of workplace architecture, where elegant design meets functionality. Alis desks, modular bookcases and storage solutions are designed to bring depth, play of light and shadow and a sophisticated visual tension to a space, making them ideal for modern, transformative work environments.
  • The TL System (design: STUDIOPIVA) is a modular and highly versatile shelving system for offices, homes and public spaces – offering freedom and style to organise and share space.
  • The glass tables in the Decumano collection (designed by Giulio Iacchetti and Matteo Ragni) are particularly suitable for work and meeting use. It is characterised by a clear structure, light beams crossing orthogonally and the possibility of combining different finishes such as champagne, grey, black and red. Decumano also offers low tables for lounge areas and wall-mounted bookcases.
  • New Dopo lounge chair.
  • Bringing privacy and acoustic peace to the workplace, the new Mini and Mini Duo phone booths and soundproof workspaces are designed for quiet calls and focused work in open spaces. The Mini is a compact single-user booth, while the Mini Duo allows two people to work in the same space.
  • For video calling and hybrid work, Fantoni introduced the height-adjustable Meetup table, designed and equipped to support optimal camera angles and acoustics for multiple participants, enabling high-quality remote meetings and smooth collaboration.
  • MyFlag column elements are available not only vertically, but also for suspended ceilings.
  • 4akustik acoustic panels are now also available with a black mdf frame, and as usual, these panels have fire class B-s1,D0.

New solution for a hybrid working environment: the Fantoni Panorama

At the Milan Furniture Fair last week (18-23 April 2023), Italian company Fantoni presented its new Panorama collection, designed to meet the new needs of post-pandemic hybrid working environments. Flexible and offering a wide range of combinations, Panorama invites you into a cosy “third space”, an ideal place for concentration, collaboration and meetings, as well as for social situations and relaxation.

The Panorama concept is based on a partition system with a continuous black border, which, thanks to its wide range of combinations, also includes a kind of dynamic panorama: the height and transparency of the partitions can be adjusted to suit the overall space. At the same time, the system offers a wide range of special Panorama furniture (tables of different heights, platforms, sofas, etc.), mini phone booths, Acoustic Room quiet spaces and, at the same time, functional combinability with the Fantoni furniture collections (e.g. Atelier, Hub). A wide range of layouts and configurations can be used to promote a sense of comfort and community.

The wood used in Panorama is 100% recycled material.

Fantoni’s surfaces tested antibacterial

The uncertainty brought by the current pandemic crisis forces us to think about future scenarios for the working environment. However, many studies carried out in recent months confirm the desire to return to the workplace, albeit with a different approach. We have been longing for a social dimension in the teleworking recommendations. The design of working environments should therefore allow for meetings with colleagues and clients, while respecting distance and privacy.

Hygiene through material choices

The choice of materials that are both antibacterial and easy to clean, together with a wide range of accessories such as air purifiers, contribute to responsible workplace design. Fantoni’s collections respond to these new design requirements in a variety of ways, from solutions that are built and adaptable to functional and spatial needs, to the provision of spacing and privacy, to measurably antibacterial surfaces for both desks and acoustic panels, to the efficient ventilation of Acoustic rooms and certified air purifiers.

MOSO bamboo – a carbon neutral, durable and beautiful interior material

MOSO bamboo is a carbon-neutral, highly durable and visually interesting interior material. The durability and visual originality of MOSO bamboo sheets and panels allow for a wide range of applications in interior design and construction. Bamboo as a raw material is basically as hard or harder than the hardest exotic woods, but MOSO’s method of manufacturing laminated panels also ensures excellent structural stability and dimensional stability.

Carbon neutral interior materials

Solid MOSO® bamboo products are guaranteed to be CO2-neutral throughout their life cycle. This is due to the rapid growth rate of bamboo (5 years to full maturity). During growth, MOSO® bamboo sequesters more CO2 than is released during production. In addition, the panels also perform favourably in LEED and BREEAM certified sites. The panels have a good indoor air performance, level E 1 or E 0 (EN 717-1).

With a number of important features and a beautiful appearance, it is no wonder that their use in Europe has diversified and developed considerably in recent years.

We supply either large panels 2440 x 1220 mm without surface treatment or e.g. customized, machined, surface treated and ready to install wall panels with mounting profiles, ask for more information!
