Fantoni is an Italian family business with more than 100 years of experience, best known in Europe for its high-quality designer furniture for public spaces. The company has several different factories (including its own mdf production) that form a continuous production chain. This enables Fanton to offer cost-effective, extensive and environmentally friendly production, as well as complete quality control.

About the manufacturer
For 20 years, the best-known product in Finland, 4akustik, has been a tried and tested acoustic panel that is both effective and timelessly decorative. In addition to wall and ceiling panels, the range includes a number of special applications, such as:
- wavy wall or ceiling surfaces
- EasyAccess – fully opening suspended ceiling
- Passepartout, fully opening modular suspended ceiling with cables
- Isle and Cloudakustik – prefabricated options for islands suspended from the roof by cables
- Climacustic – heating, cooling and acoustic panel for ceiling or wall
- MyWall – acoustic panel with three-dimensional installation system
- Stillwall
- 4for perforated acoustic panels in sizes 60×60, 120×60, including the new micro-perforated model for mounting on Omega mounting rails (developed on the basis of the Nanofor model)

In addition to the standard melamine finish (traditional and matt/hamper finish), special finishes are available: painted version, 3D, genuine wood veneer, etc. The panels are also available without perforation, only grooved, and can also be supplied as furniture elements, e.g. for doors and sliding doors.
Fantoni is committed to high quality and environmentally responsible production:
- Fanton has ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications, among others.
- As regards emissions (e.g. formaldehyde), 4akustik meets the requirements of the Japanese F 4 star class (JIS A 1460:2001), which is much stricter than the European (E1) class.
- Fanton’s 4akustik and Climacustic acoustic panels bring high contribution to LEED projects and more
- The climate and environmental impacts of the entire lifecycle of the battery are openly available for public scrutiny EPD (environmental product declaration) environmental report
- Fantoni is an energy self-sufficient company using renewable energy
- A significant proportion of Fanton’s products are made from recycled materials, saving up to 420 000 tonnes of virgin wood per year
- All Fanton products are FSC-certified (and PEFC-certified for panels), which also guarantees the traceability of wood materials and origin.
