Valchromat

Through-dyed Valchromat is a harder, moisture-resistant wood panel where the wood fibres are stained with organic dyes and bonded with a special resin. This gives it unique physical and chemical properties. The boards show small, less stained wood fibres that create a fine look to the surface.
Valchromat sheets are intended for indoor use, preferably with a surface treatment (varnish, waxing) to protect the surface and facilitate cleaning. Valchromat sheets are also well suited for applications requiring precise milling, e.g. water or laser cutting, as well as in humid areas.

Valchromat combines:
- Sustainability. higher density and mechanical resistance, both impact resistance and flexural strength
- Fracture strength. Valchromat is also well suited for 3D machining, laser and waterjet cutting
- Moisture resistant.
- Non-toxicity and low emissions. Valchromat has been tested to be very low-emission, and therefore safe and a good choice for indoor air

- Fire class D-s2, d0, also available in fire class B-s2,d0 (ask for details)
- Certifications: FSC/PEFC, ISO9001, CE, E1, BREEAM
- Note: 1) Valchromat is made of coloured wood fibres. The fibres can vary in colour and texture, making each sheet unique. 2) Large sheets are usually supplied without surface treatment. Before surface treatment, it is advisable to ensure that the sanding dust has been removed as thoroughly as possible.3) We recommend varnishing panels when used in damp locations, and panels should not be placed in zones that come into direct contact with water. 4) Valchromat also works as a versatile kitchen material, but is not recommended for kitchen countertops as the panel can be scratched by sharp objects or leave marks from hot dishes.

Applications
In addition to the standard plates:
- We also supply ready-to-install, lacquered and e.g. for concealed installation profiles, perforated wall panels, standard sizes 600 x 600 mm, 1200 x 600 mm (max 2400 x 600 mm) and suitable aluminium installation profiles.
